Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 (Fair Housing Act), as amended, prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of dwellings, and in other housing-related transactions, based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status and handicap (disability).
The Federal Government does not yet protect everyone from discrimination, including the LGBT community. I believe that every person is entitle to equal rights, without bias or prejudice. For that reason, I promise to not discriminate against anyone, for any reason, whether or not they are explicitly protected by their local, state or Federal Government.
